Today I run Kipe Recruiting from Pennsylvania, but we place HVAC techs, installers, and service managers for contractors nationwide. Our team handles sourcing and screening. Flat 20% placement fee, payable only when the candidate starts. No retainer, no upfront cost. If they don’t start, you don’t pay.
If a hire we place doesn’t work out in the first 60 days, we replace them at no additional cost. One backfill per placement. Your investment is protected from day one.
Once we place a candidate with you, they become your employee directly — not Kipe Recruiting’s. I handle sourcing, screening, and the interview pipeline. Once you make the hire, the candidate joins your team directly. You manage them, pay them, and onboard them as you would any other hire.
We charge a fee billable to our client based off of the worker’s salary or hourly salary (pay rate) x 2080 (hours in a work year). For example, if the worker’s pay rate is $20/hour we would multiply it by 2080 hours in a year and we would get their hourly salary, $41,600. We would then multiply our fee at 20% (41600 x .20) to get our fee, $8,320.
We guarantee the replacement of the employee hired by our client in every direct hire placement with a maximum of one backfill. If anything happens to the candidate within 60 days from the start date of their employment we will replace the employee at no extra cost.
The fee is generally due 7, 14, 21, or 30 calendar days after the employee starts work with our client.
